The Philippines was always in our bucket list and without a doubt we had an amazing time there.

Things to know before you go:

- We fly from Sydney to Manila with Cebu Pacific. The 9 hours flight didn't have any food which was a bit disappoint, you had to book your food prior, so make sure you add food when you buy your tickets or get some food to take with your from the food court in the airport.

- We took domestic flights to majority of the island but you also found ferry to go pretty much everywhere.

​

- In Philippines the currency is Philippines pesos and the conversion for when we went around.

​

- You can get Uber and Uber eats pretty much everywhere which was pretty handy.

- Rent a car is very easy. We recommended use google or instagram typing: rent cars in each city to get better deals than directly with a big company.

- We had the best time but we also had a couple of rough days in Philippines as first Mike had an allergic reaction to something and we all got sick from food poisoning, so we highly recommended don't drink tap water at all (not even brushing your teeth) and always read reviews of the restaurants you are going and hotels you are gonna stay.
